Dr Hana Farhang Khoee, MD MSc FRCSC
Dr. Hana Farhang Khoee is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and Adjunct Professor at Western University. Dr. Farhang performs both Reconstructive and Cosmetic Plastic Surgeries and is certified to Practice Plastic Surgery in both Canada and the United States.
Dr Farhang is a graduate of the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Medicine and completed her residency in Plastic Surgery at McMaster University. She did her fellowship in Reconstructive Microsurgery at the renowned Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. There, she was mentored by some of the world’s foremost breast surgeons, and she established lifelong collaborations with international Plastic Surgeons. Upon returning to Canada in 2016, she worked in Toronto as a Trauma Surgeon at St Michael’s Hospital and at the McLean Cosmetic Surgery Clinic, where she specialized in Cosmetic Procedures. In 2017, Dr. Farhang was recruited by the Windsor Regional Hospital to develop a new Breast Reconstruction program. The development of the program has been pivotal for women’s health and has been profiled on national news and local television and radio stations. For this work, Dr. Farhang received the 2018 Erie St. Clair Regional Cancer Program Summit award, which recognizes those who have substantially contributed to improving the quality of life of cancer patients.
